Information and communications technology (ICT) is an extensional term for information technology (IT) that stresses the role of unified communications^[1] and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals) and computers, as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage, and audiovisual systems, that enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.^[2]

The term ICT is also used to refer to the convergence of audiovisual and telephone networks with computer networks through a single cabling or link system. There are large economic incentives (huge cost savings due to the elimination of the telephone network) to merge the telephone network with the computer network system using a single unified system of cabling, signal distribution, and management.

ICT is a broad subject and the concepts are evolving.^[3] It covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit, or receive information electronically in a digital form (e.g., personal computers, digital television, email, or robots). For clarity, Zuppo provided an ICT hierarchy where all levels of the hierarchy "contain some degree of commonality in that they are related to technologies that facilitate the transfer of information and various types of electronically mediated communications".^[4] Theoretical differences between interpersonal-communication technologies and mass-communication technologies have been identified by the philosopher Piyush Mathur.^[5] Skills Framework for the Information Age is one of many models for describing and managing competencies for ICT professionals for the 21st century.^[6]

Wrap-Up: Outcomes of the Course

at the beginning of the study of the subject ict was very difficult. I didn’t know the computer well, but then our teacher taught me how to use the site and how to use it in the right cases. We began to learn to go to different cognitive and test sites to improve our level of knowledge. Nauchidi how to create accounts and how interesting it is to make them accessing people to it was interesting. In the beginning, we created our own accounts related to our university, UzSWLU, and at the end we created our own blogs and wrote various answers to the questions that people might need. And studying these courses, my level has become much better and I am glad that we have this  subject.

Pros and cons of different social media application

 One of the most obvious pros of using social networks is the ability to instantly reach people from anywhere. Use Facebook to stay in touch with your old high school friends who've relocated all over the country, get on google with relatives who live halfway around the world. But the disadvanteges of social networks is that people stopped reading  a book if they find something that they are immedeatly lokking for on the internet. And children spend more time playing different social games. We must work on ourselves and use the internet only in an important case.

How useful/effective are online self-assesment tests

Self-assesment test are a useful tool to explore as you stand at the career cross-roads as they can shed light on your personality, skills, strengths and motivations and help you find some focus and direction. While no single test will provide you with the definitive answer on who you are and what career to pursue, they are well worth exploring as part of a general self-analysis and as a means to fine-tune your career planning activities, highlight strengths and identify weaker areas that could use development.

The best project i Made/ Presitations I made

i did a lot of projects and various presintations, but the best was to prepare a presentation about famous people and write in a book. This prize was made at the begginning of the scool year. in the begginning it was difficult, but then the teachers helped me and explained to me how did, and in the end everythink turned out. i found 5 most famous people and wrote their biography and achievements. In the end, it turned out very well.

My test taking Strategies

In my opinion test taking strategied be prepared. I must Spend as my many hours as necessary to understand the material that will be covered on the test well enough to achieve a high score.Since teachers often slightly modify information on tests to determine if students have good understanding of concepts, spend time on honing test-taking skills. Don't remember to relax and sleep. read the test directions very carefully and watch for details. Plan how you will use the allotted time. Maintain a positive attitude. Plan to finish early and have time for review.

Critical analysis of online language learning resources

Now everyone has the internet and few people use the book. This time everyone is looking for information on the internet. In a modern century it is not difficult to learn something. Because almost everybody has network, and if they want to learn something or improve your knowledge you can just tipe on google online lessons. There are even videos, where teacher properly explain your subject. But I think online study is not very good. May be it is cheaper, but for me the quality is more important. In online study nobody can check your knowledge, and help if you didn't understand it. The next problem is that you will not learn it everytime at the similar time. Because you will learn it when you have free time, or traffic for network. 

Am I slow or a fast reader? (based on internet offered tests results)

According to the results of the online test, I am a very slow reader. Due to the fact that i still have very little experience, i read all the words verbtim and slowly so that it is clear and without errors. when i read me many words it is difficult to read long words, but now i try to read every day in oder to read faster and without mistakes.

My computer skills: Strength and weakness

 My computer skills are very good.

I enjoy working in teams and have been often told by both supervisors and peers that I am the motivator of the group during stressful situations. In college, during a group presentation, one of the team members did not submit his bit of work. Given the short deadline, everybody was worried. Analyzing the situation, I called for a short meeting. I asked everyone to take equal parts of the unfinished business and we managed to hand in a great presentation.”

My first impressions and expectations of the university classes

My first day at University is an unforgettable in my life.As such  to  me it is  unforgettable  day. Because I dreamed   to enter  this University for a long  time.We walk turn round along the University. There are  different  faculty.At  first I was very happy and  I was afraid too. How I study this University.But after  I get used to study and my groupmates.I like them and I am happy to study with them.Also I like teachers of the University.Now I am pleased my studies.I couldn't find the right room and walked in the corridor. After the second pair began, I finally found my groupmates. Then We started being introduced to the University. During the First week of being freshman at the university, I thought about running away from here. But now I really like being at the university and being with my groupmates is very wonderful.
